Documenting my journey building the Waldorf 48 with Porter Davis in Gisborne

Plaster Complete - 6 Days

Plaster started with the lower floor roofing on Wednesday the 13th of May and finished with the cornices on Monday the 18th with the plasterers working both Saturday and Sunday to complete the job.

Over on the HomeOne forums there was a bit of talk about decorative cornice locations. We ended up choosing the Symphony decorative in living area's (part of our promotion standard) and Cove cornices for the remainder of the house.



Symphony ended up being installed in the below locations:

  • Garage to main house entrance hall
  • Entrance
  • Study
  • Living
  • Dining
  • Kitchen
  • Family
  • Rumpus area upstairs
The remainder of the rooms are Cove bar the Theatre and Games due to our Bulkheads.
