I love surprises, given it was a surprise as no-one from Porter Davis has made contact to inform me of any updates (I'm talking to you my non existent BC... so much for meeting your commitment of fortnightly updates).
Drove past the block after work to see if there was any more progress and happy to say we have been pier'd!
It appears that the 2 piers which will sit below the front portico may be out of alignment, therefore resulting in them not sitting along the edge of the portico.
I'm interested in hearing from anyone with relevant experience if this is going to be a problem? Either way, if this is going to be an issue, I'm hoping it gets picked up by the Pre Slab inspection.
