We had Shane and Ellen guide us through the process. Shane was extremely knowledgeable but we found him to be dismissive at times (in particular when we said we liked "x" as per display, he began listing all he needed to replicate, without listening further to our thoughts). This caused a few issues with our kitchen selections and required me to state what we wanted quite firmly before he made the required adjustments.
Having said that however, he was great on the whole. We didn't feel rushed and managed to stick to time.
Another bit of feedback I'll escalate to PD is this: When sending out the appointment details, it would be nice to detail what the days entail. We rocked up on Monday (1pm to 5pm) without any knowledge of what was in store, and Shane started taking us through facade as though we knew the flow of events.
So for those yet to do your colour selections @ World of Style...
- Parking at South Melbourne Markets is available all day bar market days @ $9 (coins only)
- Cafe closes at 4pm (we wanted to get a coffee on Monday at 4:10pm and the guys were cleaning up)
- Prepare, prepare, prepare! Visit the showroom as much as possible before, do your research, bring print out's/ipad with images of what you want
- Be prepared to have your budget blow out!

Lastly, know what you have been charged/quoted for in your Tender document. We found $1,200 of double charges which we have been assured will be adjusted at Contract (will provide update on that later this week), plus had a few things priced on our Selections Document which were packaged items (Part of the "Design is in our DNA" Promo).
