Again, my wife had some small requirements if we where to build again and the Waldorf design ticked all the boxes, plus some, but what really sold us on the house was the Facade!
To put it simply, when my wife first laid eyes on the below image, she wanted (read WANTED) it...
"I'll take that one please... exactly like that!"
Not only did it tick our facade requirement, but so too did its layout, with a few small add ons.
NOTE: This is my only current criticism from the Porter Davis website... Allow people to flip the floor plan so they know what the house could look like based on the position of their crossover! Metricon does it, it can't be that hard. Also, it would be nice if we could have multiple options show at the same time.
Below is the Ground Floor options are are taking, along with the following:
- Provision for future Gas Fireplace
1100 Extension to Alfreso and Terrace- 1500 Extension to Garage with rear roller door access
- Laundry Dry Room option as per Williams Landing Display
- Modifications to a few door placements (will update plans once provided at Tender Stage)
Upstairs also has a few mods:
- Bedroom 3 and 4 to share a bathroom
- Move the WIR to the front of the room. I want to have some windows allowing some sun through with the bed head behind.
- Cavity door to be installed to the Bedroom 2 ensuite (toilet and shower also being swapped to allow for cavity door installation)
- Upstairs Void as per Williams Landing display
- Masters Ensuite to get some posh treatments (more details to follow tender appointment)
As mentioned above, once I have the tender appointment, I'll upload the finalised plans and detail any other changes, along with the prices I received.
