NBN in Gisborne - NO

One of the downsides to choosing to live in Gisborne is for some reason the Government currently elected has chosen to say "NO" to the Macedon Ranges with regards to NBN. There is currently nothing on future releases and no ETA on when Gisborne or surrounding Macedon Ranges areas will receive NBN.

A bit of a let down really, however when I ran a speedtest on my Optus mobile I was absolutely BLOWN away (nearly literally) by the results!

92.79 Mbps Download?!?!Yes Optus!


Now to find a way to get near Broadband download limits on Optus Mobile for a reasonable price... wishful thinking?
