On Friday I received an email everyone building a new home hangs for and dreads... PCI update.
All is good on our front, with PCI scheduled for 13/08 and indicative handover set for 21/08 (nearly dead on contract set date).
One bit of bad news however is that our selected carpet is out of stock and in production, meaning it won't be ready for install until 18/08. Our SS has offered for us to reselect (which is annoying because when we asked a few months back we were told a firm NO as carpet was already ordered. Now it appears to be convenient for PD for us to reselect). So we are off to WoS tomorrow to review the range again and email through our choice to our SS.
We have informed him we will take a look and see if there is anything we are happy to change to within the range, but if not will proceed with the current selection. If we do find something we prefer it ensures the carpet is installed before PCI.
So now the countdown is on!
